it looked scabbed over like he'd taken a tine to the face. He was about 6 miles south a cpl days before so I'd imagine he got ran off that wad of does.

all those crop fields down through that valley were covered with them and you'd see waves coming along the mountain range. That muley needed 20yds of being on public land and riding back to TX. After seeing him, nothing else really mattered, he was getting shot or it was tag soup.

I know the feeling. I came home from NM with Muley tag soup this year myself for a similar reason. It was go big or go home...empty. What a deer.

Lol... That was part of the 18" that area got. The last day it was -4 with 40+ mph wind gusts.
