Spotted darting in out of the mesquites at about 75 yds. Then he turned and left. Gave two grunts and hit the rattle bag. Thought maybe he might circle back so looked left and had a spike just outside the window. Figured if anything I'd get some decent pics of the spike. Bent over to grab my camera when I saw a flash of this guy to my right. Guess he spotted the spike too, cause he was coming for bear. Stepped out at 25 yds, gave him a burp to freeze him and the rest was history!

Great Deer!! Where at in Coleman county? We were there opening weekend and no signs of rut yet, we are in the SE part of the county on the Brown conuty line...
