I put this together about 2 seasons ago, its pretty basic just 1" pvc for the trunk and 3/4" for the limbs. I drilled holes in the limbs so I could clip the dove dekes on....

Also have a 3' peice of rebar that i steak into the ground and slide the dove tree over it. The whole set up for the tree (pvc pipe and joints) cost me less than $10 (I already had the spray paint)

I built one a few years back and it flared more birds than it brought in. Used it once and never again.

Here's mine. I like it. It's not necessary but I like to watch the birds decoy, and I can't stop building things.

12 dove decoys, 4 Blairs, and 2 birdogs in the background at the ready.

Everyone on my lease wears snake boots except for me. Around me, the snakes wear the boots.

I could not force myself to do that for dove....... 2cents

It amazes me how things have changed in the migratory hunting world.

How does the rebar hold out, I've tried tying mine to things and it gets really wobbly in the wind?

I like to build things, and I enjoy watching the birds work. It's fun to watch them decoy into it. Most of them fly by.

The times they are a changin'...

The thing I like about Gene is when he gets a good joke going he knows how to make sure everyone has heard it. Some may be lucky to hear it 3 or 4 times.

Let the haters hate. I don't think I'll ever top teal tags. But the snakes round me really do wear boots. But they don't call them snake boots. They call 'em gacman boots.

This one's for Marc.

A duck walks into a pharmacy and says, "Do you have any chapstick?" When the pharmacist hands it to him, the duck replies, "Thanks, just put it on my bill."

I have had them land on the pipe between decoys, right about the time my wife slams them with pellets. Yes they work wonders.
