Had this in 55gal drum for a week. I will let it go another week before its ready. Contents are 50lbs oats, 40lbs corn, 10 liters of cheap orange soda, yeast, 6pk Budlight, and some water. Its starting to smell a little ripe in the 90degree weather

Sprinkle some pre-sweetened Cherry or Grape KoolAid on it and you've got the best hog bait ever!

Man, Im sure its going to work. But I think you are putting to much money and effort in to it. Corn, some koolaid and water, let it sit out and ferment at the most. Drink the beer.

I just bought eight 5 gallon buckets with screw on lids. Found 'em on Craigslist for $3 each. I use these things for all sorts of baits for hogs and deer. Time to make some hog bait.
This time I'm gonna go 50% shredded sugar beet pulp and 50% corn. Water and koolaid of course.
I'm a little late because I'm heading out next weekend. Oh well.

Well I bought a brand new 55 gallon drum on CL for $10. The wife doesnt like it, so I strap it in the back of my truck and it sits in the sun all day I take the screw out portion off the lid.

My uncle used to get whey for free from a cheese plant. His hogs loved it mixed with ground corn and oats.
