Not sure if I built my turkey feeder stand wide enough. Its a 4x4. Should I have gone 5x5?

Be sure and cross brace the legs. It looks strong enough for the weight.

Very strong. It also has 2 2x10 runners underneath. Gonna brace the legs when I get it to the lease.

From the looks of it it should hold anything short of a battleship, once you get the legs braced.

Turkeys can be really dumb when it comes to feeders off the ground. You might have to set it to one corner or to one side more to give more room or use a small size barrel or buck even for a feeder at first. Also gonna have to do something to keep the coons from climbing up the legs also. Also get it far enough away from trees so coons and squirrels can't jump across to it.

Thank you. Gonna put 12 to 16 inch flashing around the 2x10's to keep coons off.

Are there going to be cattle in the pasture where you put this feeder?
