I am tore between these two scopes. Has anyone used one or the other?
I like the etched reticle in the burris but I hear that the Monarch is in a better class and only 50 dollars seperates the ones that I am Considering.

I don't know if Natchez is offering a deal on their Monarch's (or which model you're looking at) but both are good little scopes. Natchez is having a $100 off right now.
Is Roy able to chime in yet on his sponsor.....is he up to the computer yet?

The monarch I want is out of stock an Natchez, but I think Nikon has the 100 dollars off everywhere right now.
I can pick up a Burris E1 4.5-14x42 for 312.00 no tax free shipping vs 350.00 plus tax and shipping.

I don't have one but I've heard nothing but good things anout the Vortex Viper scopes. CameraLand has a smoking pre-order deal going now on their 6.5-20X44 with the V-Plex reticle. $279.99 with free shipping and no tax unless you live in NY. Delivery set for early March. I bought my Swaro from Doug and his customer service is great and it's takes some doing to beat his prices. Vortex Viper

Never looked through a Monarch, but I'm sold on Burris. Comparing it to my Zeiss, it gathers light better in lowlight conditions.
