This is somewhat off-topic (sorry clwildlife).... But I've just personally always found it humorous how everyone here in Texas wants "clean" Zebra with no shadow stripes. (For those of you who don't know, there are several sub-species of Zebra, with different styles of stripes). The sub-species with the most pronounced shadow stripes (I believe) is the Burchell's Zebra (pictured below).  Personally, I would ABSOLUTELY prefer a Zebra to have shadow stripes. I guess when I get ready to buy some Zebra one of these day.....I will get some great deals on "dirty" Zebra with lots of shadow stripes

The shadow stripes are really cool looking.
