Just want to add I'm in Brownsville (very South Texas), but I'll be going up to Houston for Christmas. And I'll be in Freer after that, so I can meet somebody from San Antonio in Georgewest or something.

I have a Ruger M77 MKII Stainless in .270 I'd like to sell. Comes with a 3-9x40 Leupold VARI-X II. Has about a box and a half of rounds through it. The case can go with it. Very small scuff on the scope (pictured). I'm asking $600.

As far as trades go, I'm mainly looking for pistols, AR uppers or lowers, a quality AK, optics (mainly for AR flattops) +/- cash,

What part of Houston will you in and how long will you be there? I would like to look at the rifle. I will be in Friendswood from the 26th through the 29th.

I have another guy that is considering meeting me on the 26th in Freer. If either him or you commits, I'll contact the one that commits first first.

I honestly could not tell you. I've never shot it for groups.

4 or 5 years ago I sighted it in old school technology/theory - about an inch low at 25 yards. In that time since, it's taken 10 to 15 deer at various distances - shots going where I put them.

Last season is when I bumped the scope. Shortly after, I missed a slick horned 7 point with a crooked beam we'd been trying to get out of the herd for 2 years at 100+ yards with a solid rest. I haven't shot it since. It will need a quick sighting in.

That's an honest and accurate assessment I can give you. Hope it helps.

I'm in Houston, but I forgot to bring the guns. Doh.

So for those that have expressed interest when I go to Freer on the 26th, I'll definately have the 2 guns with me.
