Took this Hog with my 300 Blackout running subsonic 208 grain Amax rounds through a 16" AR with YHM Supressor

Question: Whats the differance between the Blackout and the Whisper?

Very little. Whisper, 300 Fireball etc. are wildcats and can have some differences in chambers, 300BLK is Saami spec'ed cartridge. In theory a Whisper barrel should not be able to fire BLK rounds but that's not always the case. I have a 300 Fireball that fires 300BLK rounds just fine but if I load specifically for it, 300BLK chamber won't be able to use them.

Whisper, in theory, is a 7.62x34 round while BLK is 7.62x35 round.

Bud, where did you shoot it and what was the internal damage like? I have only killed one hog with my BLK using a 208 AMax and it was pretty much a clean pass through for the bullet with no expansion. Still killed it but with the subsonic load shot placement is VERY critical.
