Can we get a boat purchase update?

just an observation/opinion. My brothers and I are somewhat boat connoisseurs. Between the 3 of us we own 4 boats. I bet we've had over 20 boats in our possession in the last 10 years alone. Just always trying to up the annie, and find the best one we can get.

And in my time of duck hunting and fishing I don't think I've ever personally seen a War Eagle boat. Probably for that reason of the lack of dealers.

Also never really hear much about them as far as reviews.

Anyways I'm interested to see what/if you get one, and how it works out for you!

I'm on number 2. The first was a 1754 LDSV with a 90hp johnson. It was great for long runs but it would beat you up in rough water. I bought it for a duel purpose hunt/fish boat but it was too heavy and nice to hunt from and 3 degree hull was hard to fish from in wind. I went back to basics on the new boat and purchased a 2012 548 LDV with a 20 inch transom and a new (2009) 2 stroke yamaha elh 25 hp. I dont mind beating this boat up and its big ehough for the rough waters and easy to beach or hide.

If money were no object, and I had a place to keep a 2nd boat, besides Treebass' house, here is what I'd like to have.

badass rigs! Only thing I'd worry about having duals is when/if one of the motor craps out... and I'd move the console to the side

War Eagles are great boats...I dont have much experience with the center console boats like the ones pictured above, but as far as tiller handle duck boats they are great...very tough, durable; also built and owned by duck hunters so they get a lot of real use feedback and testing every year; Never have been in a war eagle on the open water or a lake but as far as the backwaters and duck woods they are really good boats....nice pics above too
