Another approach is to show her what years of dying does to hair.

I have no problem telling Gina what I think and she has no problem ignoring what I think. Worked well for almost 20 years. grin

just be honest. tell her nicely that although you think she looks good in red, you really miss her natural blonde color. if you do it nicely enough she might take it to heart and go back to it. or, she might just ignore ya like some of the guys have already mentioned... i personally listen to my guy when it comes to these things, especially if he seems sincere about it...

In all honesty, honesty does not always pay off.

Honesty is a slippery slope. First, you tell her you don't like her hair color. So she feels the need to be honest and tell you that she doesn't like XXX about you. In all fairness, you're compelled to tell her you don't particularly like XXX about her. Before it's over, you're living in different houses and she's taken her maiden name back. Just accept the things that make her feel good about herself and be thankful she accepts you and your little idiosyncrosies.

She's had it for about a year now....

I don't want to get in trouble for giving away man-secrets but sometimes when we're being "honest" with you, we're really taking the path of least resistance.

Does he tell you that some of your clothes are not appropriate? Or even worse, not age appropriate? Does he tell you when it's not the clothes that make your butt look big? Or when you need to start watching what you eat? Or when parts of your body are heading south? Or that he wishes you would quit asking him what he's thinking (because you probably wouldn't like the answer)? Or <insert whatever here>?

Of course, I know nothing of you or your relationship. I would say I'm generalizing but really I'm just killing time till lunch.
