Lee has some good Videos on their web site for setup and usage of their products. Cabelas has what has been reported as good clases on Sundays that are free.
Hopefully someone will also stepup to come over and show you the ropes, I have a pretty full schedule for the next month or so.

I am starting to feel like a broken record (does the younger set even have a clue what that means? I wonder! ), but I suggest the purchase and thorough reading of at least one good reloading manual. Lyman's 49th Reloading Handbook would be a good choice, among others.

Yep, read a good manual. Lyman and Lee both have good manuals. They'll walk you through reloading A-Z (well, almost ) Youtube has some good vids on how to set up/run a progressive too. Good luck.

I would watch some of the videos on YouTube and read a reloading manual. The reloading manual will cover the safety issues that might get left out on YouTube. I would also check the Midway video series.

I like all of the suggestions. Read a manual, watch YouTube, go to Cabelas and STILL get some help on the first time.

x2. Plus if you realize you need some additional supplies you can get everything you need before you return home and start loading your own.

we need to make this a "sticky" post for all the new guys to see. It would save a bunch of repetitive responses and could be updated as new insights are realized.

Books are fine, but you can't beat watching and learning from somebody else. If you don't have anybody to teach you then maybe the Cabelas class will help.
My opinion is that learning to safely load handgun loads and shotshells is easy enough to do. Now rifle loads are another thing.
Even after loading thousands of rounds of handgun loads I experimented with rifle shells once and just decided that the store bought stuff was accurate enough for me at the ranges I shoot at. There seems to be an art to that, or I just didn't get it. Oh well....I shoot fifteen or twenty rifle rounds a year and thousands of rounds of handgun loads.
