Lots of bragging, hacking and smack talking going on about Remington vs Salvage, as a past member used to say "It's time for a dance off".
I suggest a contest, "Shoot what ya hunt with". Let's keep it simple all that is required is a 5 shot group at 200 yard's. The target must be witnessed and signed by another member who is competing in the contest, a photo must be submitted. You only get one shot at this, Y'all pick the day your going to shoot. I'm talking bragging Rights!
I see no need to limit this to Rem's and Salv's.
Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

what about .22 caliber centerfires?
what about guns that have had work done, such as my ruger?

If it's a rifle you hunt with then your good to go, just make sure it's witnessed and signed.

Where is a 200yd near the metromess? I'm in, just don't have an easily accessible place for fellow THF members. Maybe set one day each month for a gTg, just a thought

I go to a private gun club in GP. I know there are several ranges in this area that have 200 I check and see if I can get the names.
