These are the only two I have ever found. The top one was found in a creekbed in Rowlett (Dallas county) and the bottom one was found on a hill in Commanche County.

I found a bunch of them in the sulphur river as a kid. pretty easy to find actually. You just have to step around all the dinosaur bones. They are all over the place down there. Lots of shark teeth too.

We built a food plot along the Colorado River in Coleman County. Must have been a heavily used camp site. After ever heavy rain, I find multiple artifacts. Here are a few:

If you have a true Clovis point, you have a very EXPENSIVE point on your hands! I'd like to see it.

Mmmm Hmmm

45 years of hunting all over Texas and I finally found ONE 2 years ago.

I knew a guy that was a fossile hunter and he had never found an arrowhead, one day while hunting fossiles he ran into a guy with a pocket full of arrow heads who said he had never found a fossile (hunting in the exact same area).

I guess it has to do with what you've trained yourself to look for... I see a lot of wild life.

These were picked up over several years while hunting various leases in Texas and also while hunting in other states. Many found in places one would not normally have thought to look. No telling how many shot opportunities at game I have screwed up because my eyes where scanning the ground instead. I once was on a lease near Eden Texas and one of the guys in the camper next to me commented about how he had never found an arrowhead. I started walking him around behind his trailer explaining what he should be looking for. Rather than looking for an actual arrowhead I told him to watch for the flint, then kick it up for a better look. Seconds after I had said that, he pointed to a little edge of flint sticking out of the dirt between some rocks and asked "like this?". And to his surprise it was the first arrowhead he ever found. It had been laying 10 ft behind his camper all along and he never knew it for all the years he had been on that lease.
