I'll get one at some point, but pleading my case to the wife will present a challenge though.

I've got mine, it's sitting next to me in the stand as I type! Benelli R1 30-06, Trijicon Accupoint 2.5-10x56 amber dot. As accurate as any sporter bolt action rifle I've ever had, 400+ rounds fired w/o a single malfunction. The buttstock on this rifle is adjustable for that "perfect fit" and it makes a difference, I feel like I can almost shoot skeet with it. Significantly lighter than most AR-10 platforms (7.2 #'s w/o scope), it's easy to carry in the field. Just added an A-1 quick set adjustable sling from Murray leather and it compliments the rifle perfectly.

The rifle is easy to strip and clean and can be easily completely dissasembled unlike the Browning & Remington designs. Holds zero through stripping, cleaning and reassembly, last time I touched the knobs on the scope was summer 2009.

Howa Axiom 22-250 I have a Burris scope on it and getting ready to put the Burris Six X on it

I have other guns as in Rem 700's and Ruger #1 and Browning Abolt and Xbolt i have Leupold VXL scopes and Nightforce but this is my GOTO and go figure it is all less than 1500.00

Ever since I saw a Little Sharps rifle I wanted one, never thought I would own one unless I won the Lottery. One day at a Gunshow, there was a used one. It found a new home,

Upgraded Bastogen Walnut stock, pewter forarm tip, 26 inch barrel, 38-55 Winchester chamber. The pic does not do it Justice, the buttstock has as much or more figure as the forarm.

If money wasn't a option I'm not for sure what my number 1 choice would be but high on the list would a rifle built by Kirby Allen and topped with a Schmidt & Bender or something along those lines

Is that an original? I'd like to have one some day but all I find are reproductions.

Not original, matter of fact until a couple guys in Montana cane up with and followed through with the idea it probally had necer been one built. The rifle is a 20% scaled reproduction if the 1874 sharps. The rifle is for sure more accurate than I am with the sights on it but I have fired 1.5 inch groups at 100 yards with it and my 47 year old eyes.

That pic is used as a punch line to describe the THF over on the TFF.

Here's my Sako 85 greywolf in .30-06, shot it once. When you eject the shells the empty casing hits under the scope and falls back down on the other shells. I was furious, how can that get missed from the factory. So, now it had to take a trip back to the factory to get fixed. For a high dollar rifle, that sucks big ones.

In a previous life of mine we had these. While they had a definite cool factor since they were the new toy on the block they certainly weren't $23,000 cool. We had issues with our 2 stage triggers as well. 2 out of 3 guns turned into single stage triggers after about 300 rounds.
