Real Men of Geniuuuuuus

Today we salute you, Mr. Setup For Early Teal Exactly At LST Hunter...

Mr. Setup For Early Teal Exactly At LST Huuuuuuunter

While most hunters get to their spots hours before dawn, you dare to launch your jon boat three minutes to legal shooting time...

Effort is overraaaaaaated!

With 3 robo ducks spinning while you sit in your uncovered boat out in the open, you make it clear that your mission is to only harvest the dumbest of the dumb teal...

It's called conservaaaaaaation.

No matter how badly you screw over the other hunters around you, you manage to scout 60 yards from my blind wearing desert camo only an hour into the hunt...

Are those decoys or duuuuuucks?

So crack open an ice cold Bud Light, Mr. "no shots fired by anyone because of me", because anyone can do it the easy way, but it takes a real man to do it the impossible way...

Mr. Setup For Early Teal Exactly At LST Huuuuuuunter

Was this yesterday, or did another guy come in on you today?

I think you and I were at the same place yesterday morning. I walked in though and was across from you. Those guys literally got to the ramp and launched at legal.

Yep, that was me out there. This did happen yesterday so you know what I'm talkin' about.

Every time I looked over their way they were STANDING in the boat sticking out like sore thumbs or walking around... bang

Talk about screwing your spot over. I thought I had it bad, but they totally chopped you at the knees.

How frustrating....your song is FUNNY but I would've been upset had that happened to me. You put in all the time to scout and effort to get up early and get there only to some DB do that to ya. That is wrong anyway you slice it.

True story I think I saw these guys hunting one day.

I was bass fishing one day in like january. I pull off the main lake into another mian arm. There is a cove to the right still basically main lake, and there is a go devil boat tied up to a tree about 10 feet from the bank one guy leaning against the tree another one in the boat shooting at coots, ring necks whatever comes with in about 75 yards. It was hilarious. I mean a mud boat tied up in 5 foot of water out on the main lake. It was histerical. I laughed every time I heard them shoot. It was greatness. I almost went over to them, and told them to meet me at the boat launch at 4 the next morning, and I would take them to a place that boat belonged to be, and hunt in some duck water.

Oh I was plenty pizzed off, but that is the nature of public waters. The part that really baffles me is that EVERY duck hunter knows teal fly REAL early. If they're in the area you'd better be setup 30 minutes before LST or they'll be dropping in on your head while your puttin' out the spread. How in the heck are you gonna roll out at LST and think you're doing anything right?

The only poetic justice is that a fisherman in a white skiff got within 100 yards of them and took his time trolling around.

Going duck hunting does not make one a duck hunter.

That's funny right there. I guess you had plenty of time to think of the lyrics since the ducks weren't coming in.
