Yep, that was me out there. This did happen yesterday so you know what I'm talkin' about.

Every time I looked over their way they were STANDING in the boat sticking out like sore thumbs or walking around... bang

Talk about screwing your spot over. I thought I had it bad, but they totally chopped you at the knees.

That cove is always full of dummies.

That same morning you were fighting your barney, I had the two grumpy old men set up about 75 yards down the bank from me tied up to some trees fishing. The water they were in is no more than 3 feet deep, maybe 4... They just stared at me.

I had a guy setup and fish about 60 yards out in front of me opening weekend. I stood up, waved my hand at him and he pretended like he didn't see me. He continued on with what he was doing and threw out his anchor and just sat there staring at me. I was like ok.. WTF DUDE?! Can we come up with something for guys like this??

I've had the fishermen pull right up in my shooting lane and act like nobody is waving at them to move etc..

And yes teal aggrivate me because they will dive bomb you while setting up the dekes. And naturally it's too early to shoot.

Hey Larry..I really think it was the color of your light...now that I've been thinking and drinking. That green light just sucked 'em right in. I flashed 'em too and I heard a "well, there's a guy over there"

They saw your green light as an invite!

Heh, it was soooo close to LST that I had already put away my official "I'm over here" spotlight. All I had around me was my clip on cap head lamp.

Hmmmm, good thing the bulbs weren't red - it ain't that kind of duck blind... eek2 bolt

No that's sad, but funny. Watch out for Cyber-Barney, he just might learn from his mistakes. Most likely not.

Like Christmas carols, when the season arrives they never get old. Very nice LC!

On "Barney Central Texas" desert camo it THE correct color to wear right now. We have about 1/2 mile of exposed shore line.

That particular day it would have been impossible. I was laying in 3" of water/mud in the middle of a big flat with zero cover. I brought a branch from a shrub and laid it across me. There were two of them - no way could they have covered up.

And they were coming in literally right at LST. Teal on public water usually is that 15-30 minute window right then. By the time I could have gotten them over there it would have been over.

Sounds like a popular cove, good place to hang out and meet people
