I've got the M935. Had some initial problems with it. Alot of that was my fault. Bought it brand new and should've done a better job cleaning it, before chambering that first round.
It was literally coated inside and out in cosmoline. (sp)
FTF. FTE.
Since then, no problems, but I have noticed it hates aluminum shells. Brass has been no problem.
For the money it's a good buy.

Thanks janie. That reflects all the reviews that I have found online. They say they are very dirty from the factory but they are supposedly very reliable after that. How is the fit and finish as I am looking at the wood stocked version?

That's what I keep hearing. I was just wanting some first hand experience. I need to go check one out myself.

Fit and finish is nice. I'll snap a pic later today and send it to you.

I also have a 935. I experienced the same issues as Janie. I also found it does not like 2 3/4 just like it says, although I have found it will feed Federal 2 3/4 field loads fairly successfully. Fit and finish is good, better then expected by Mossberg.

I like Mossberg myself. I am looking for the 930 as I will be shooting 2 3/4" light loads exclusively.
