I killed this buck on a half section of family land in Alfalfa county on the south bank of the Salt Fork river.

Here is one from the north side of the river from November 2009. He gross scored 155" as a main frame 8 point.

Here is a 150" 9 point from muzzleloader season 2008.

None of these were killed at or even near a feeder.

2004 Kendall county 20 yards outside of feeder pen running does

2005 kendall county, had to move location to side of a cliff and catch him coming in down a creek bottom to the back of the feeder. have video were i shot at him the weekend before and after tracking him for a long time i hunted him until i was sure he was not wounded bad or dead somewhere and was relieved when I found him and put him down.

2009 kimble county, we had a lot of cam pics of this buck and i ended up getting him at a feeder on the other side of the ranch heading towards a feeder and then he lost his senses when a hot doe jumped over the fence and he made a fatal mistake.

2009 kimble county, this dude came out the morning after i harvested the 10 point and the game cam caught him. hopefully next year.

2007 Kendall county shot by my dad, he has two more off of this place with similar genetics and all were shot coming into feeders, but this one was the best. low fence no protien.

until 2004 i never really hunted feeders but i have to admit during the rut especially they can be productive at time's.

He is the biggest buck we have produced since we HF'ed it in 1995. He grossed 169 5/8 as a 11 pointer and netted 156 5/8" as a 10 pointer

I was thinking about posting mine, but you've all embarrassed me and my little bambi, so I'm tucking my tail between my legs and leaving.

Oh come on, I started the thread and mine is the smallest one here. If it was a trophy to your or just a deer you wanted to take, then thats good enough for me.

MSP24 - I've taken 3 bucks in my life.

107 7-pt (actually an awesome deer with good mass and 9-inch brows)

128 8-pt

95 6-pt (HIDEOUS)

I only get to shoot deer that my friends don't want because I'm a freeloader. Nothing to be embarrassed of if you can't hang with the big boys on this board. Not many people can.

He had been for years... and would have been had I waited... but I went to him instead of him coming to me... caught him crossing a road from a brush blind and had some alfalfa pellets out to hold him there...
