Driving my daughter to Louisville, KY in a couple of weeks for the NASP world tournament. Any suggestions for pit stops on the way?

Mammoth Cave two hours south of Louisville. Lots of distilleries one hour south. You could go to the Louisville slugger bat factory in downtown Louisville also.

Go tour a bourbon distillery or two in Kentucky while you are there.

Thanks for the suggestions.

We are planning to check out the mammoth cave if we get there in time.

Probably will skip distillery tours since my daughter is 12.

The Ark Encounter looks really interesting. If her team makes it back next year we are planning on the whole family going and that will be part of the trip.

We did it this year and highly recommend. Also, don't miss the Creation Museum. Just another 45 min. north of the Ark.
