A big Doe - acting odd

Noon, and there’s a big doe wandering around the front yard/pasture and acting strange. Obviously looking for something, or maybe doing a threat assessment. I wondered if she had a new fawn somewhere in the grass, and sure enough, the little one stands on real wobbly legs. Looks to be a brand new baby, with mom licking it clean. After searching for a milk source, and finally finding one, it had a sip and then wobbled over to where it had been laying up. Guess i’ll hold off shredding that pasture for a week.
The wife gets real excited at seeing fawns.
