This past Saturday was my birthday, and had enough $$ scraped together to get a Diamond Edge SB-1.
The Diamond Razor Edge I bought a couple of months ago is great, but wanted something that I can "grow up" with.
So the Razor Edge is going to be passed down to my son.

I bought the SB-1 from Bass Pro Shop, it was the only shop I knew that carried it.
The bow tech there, Rudy, (cool dude) took all the measurements to adjust the bow for me and me only.
He answered all my questions.

I still had enough for more practice arrows, and he picked some that he informed are perfect for practicing and not expensive. Trimmed them down to my custom length.

Spent a couple of hours at the indoor range.
Man, I love shooting this bow.

And I was only charged for the bow, arrows, and field points ($460 total)

Diamond makes some good quality and affordable bows. You should get years of fun out of this one. Best of luck to you in your pursuits with it.

You did what?

It will be fun to shoot, and deadly should you choose to hunt. Congratulations! banana

same bow I use, took 2 deer with it this year. change out the arrow rest to a whisker bisket and your groups will greatly improve. Best $30 I've spent in a long time!

Congrats, those can b very good shooting bows. Just getting started I would shoot it like it came then as you get better change rest to a dropaway and upgrade sights some time after that. Both will help your shooting but hopefully the guy taught you good shooting form. Practice with purpose in other words pay attention to what you are doing and build on consistency.

Sold one of the SB-1s to an experienced shooter last year that was in town working and did not bring his bow with him. We set the bow up to him and he shot in a tourney that weekend and placed 18th out of 78 with a new off the shelf bow with the full redy to hunt package with not expensive arrow. I ask him how he thought he would have done with his bow and he said around 5th with a bow that it and accessories were over 5X as much as the SB-1, overall he was very happy with the bow. Saying that just to say I think you ogot a lot of bow for the $ Enjoy it.
