http://www.rokslide.com/forums/clothing/56902-usa-clothing-brands-2.htmlLink to a post that has the owner answering what you asked more or less. Appears to be a native Texan, former Seal trying to do what Kuiu has done as far as marketing direct to the consumer with no middle man or store front therefore allowing him to keep costs down. Beyond that I know nothing of it nor have seen it. I wish him the best of luck though. It’s a tough market to break into especially, selling direct to the consumer.

Good stuff. I have a few of their products and really like them. That being said I have none of the competitions products for comparison. Then again if I'm spending that much the "made in the USA" is worth it to me.

I still can’t get over why most hunting apparel lines cost more than most designer goods. Why are they all so expensive?!

I know the SIXSITE gear is so expensive because of the quality of the materials they use in their product. I went out to their shop in Dallas last week and the owner spent the better part of an hour answering questions and showing me his product. He told me about the materials they use in each piece, needless to say too much to get in to here; long story short, most brands don’t use them because of the price point. Hands down the best gear I’ve got my hands on. Quality made stuff, made in the USA and owned and designed by a Navy SEAL doesn’t hurt either.

From what I've seen at the hunting shows.... I'm not nearly important enough to wear there clothing...
