I’m looking at starting Antler Advantage but at $15/bag for 50lbs, that will get expensive quick. Any other really good options?

I’ve tried cottonseed and was not pleased with the response from my deer. Even after 3-4 months, they wouldn’t touch it.

I've use the 16% Gore Bros(Comanche) sells, but don't remember the brand. Deer barely ate it for 3 months. I switched to Antler Max two weeks ago and they went through 150lbs in two weeks

Down here in South Texas, the deer really go for the Lyssy & Eckel protein. Its $10.55/bag and its all the deer need for nutrition. Does and bucks crave it all year long. I believe their pellets even have "medicine" in it.
Not really sure who sells pellets up there near Abilene.

I'm really not sure how much good it would do for antler growth. I only fed it for one year a few years ago when it was actually cheaper than corn and the deer took to it pretty quickly. It's the 16% All-Stock protein pellets from Tractor Supply. Not sure what it is now as I don't have horses any more, but back then it was $6.50/50# sack.

I just priced some at J&L in Cisco. 20%, 50lb bags are $12.25. It a Purina brand. I'm starting the protein this year. May have to mix with corn at first to get them to take to it. At least that's what I've been reading.
