Are you trying to stir the pot again?

For me, it depends on the magnification of the scope. For a scope with a top magnification of 10, I prefer sfp. If the scope zooms to 15 or 20, I prefer ffp.

good answer. For LR I prefer FFP but for hunting SFP works just fine.

I just bought my first mil/mil/ffp scope 3-15x50 Burris. I hope I don't regret it.

Any type of reticle with holdovers or wind adjustments, I'd prefer FFP. The only time SFP is a deal killer for me is if you start going over 10X on a variable.

Thing I do not like about FFP is on a hunting scope how small the lines get at low power where I usually have the scope while hunting, being they get so small they are hard to see during those critical low light times.

That's where the reticles with thick outter lines come in handy. It's not too hard to conncet them in an imaginary dotted line.

An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

For hunting from a stand here in Texas with 300 yards max shots, SFP. All my target guns are FFP though.
