11:15am this morning my wife hears the pig alarm(motion detector) go off at the feeder. She takes a quick look through the binoculars and confirms they are there and sends me a text. I am fishing in the boat on the pond and return to shore, drive the mule back to the house, get the gun out of the gun case, load it, walk to my shooting station(200yrds from the feeder), aim and fire. The new 20" 6.8SPC rifle isn't virgin anymore. One pig dropped where he stood.  I eat a quick lunch when I get back then go back to fishing.......slowly trolling a crappie jig behind the boat. I had some success and added them to my fish holding pen.

Nice. Tell me me more about this, "pig alarm(motion detector)". Just a little Chamberlain driveway alarm attached to the feeder I'll have to look for one, I struggle to stay awake at night and something like this may let me nap and not miss the action. Where'd you get yours?

Yes. Mine is 250yrds from transmitter to receiver......direct line of site. Your mileage may vary.
