I have been invited to deer hunt here. What can I expect to see in size of deer? Never been around this area. Thanks for any input. Going to take the 270 and 308. Am I over gun?

270 is fine - some areas have good deer and others not so much - best of luck and enjoy

Hunted just west of there in 1987 and 1988 lease that backed up to EV Spence. There was a lot of deer good size a 270 is just fine. Good luck

Some areas have lots of pigs
Some areas have axis and other exotics free roaming
