Of course smoked venison link on tortillas or bread is tasty, fast and easy. But what else have y'all come up with to make a delicious meal with the smoked link?

I put it in gumbo, jambalaya, seafood piquant. Slice it up and fry it with potatoes, onions, and jalapeņos. Cut it up and cook it in a big pot of beans. Dice it up and scramble it with eggs for breakfast. All kinds of good stuff to do with it.

Nothing beats smoked sausage stewed in marinara for 15 minutes and served over pasta. Chop a yellow squash and a zucchini in there and you have a complete meal. I call it marinara premavera.

Cut sausage in 1/2 inch rounds and brown with chopped onion. Once browned, deglaze pan by adding a slurry of 2 cups warm water or chicken stock with 2 tablespoons of flour mixed into the water. Add a teaspoon of cajun spice and let simmer and thicken. Serve over rice.
Same sausage rounds and onion with cabbage, cut potato and chicken broth makes a pretty good cabbage soup. Season to your liking.
Chicken and sausage gumbo is also great. I use the store bought roux, but you can make your own too. Plenty of recipes out there just google it.

I also use store bought roux. I'm using my turkey dark meat, sausage, and oysters.

Boil it and serve with sides, bbq it.
Cut it into pieces about 3 inches long then split in half wrap in crescent rolls and make pigs in the blanket.
