The last couple of weeks has been a great start to our Coastal duck season. Even though the opener had us in a full moon with little to no wind we had some good shoots. This past Thursday when the cold front blew in had us staring at new birds by the thousands showing up filling our backwater marshes full of ducks. Our bags our consisting of pintails, teal, redheads, shovelers and a few bluebills. And our fishing is at its best right now for shallow water marsh redfishing.
