Deer aint to interested in my corn, as it was raining acorns on Saturday.
Talked to a buddy in the same county that dropped a nice buck. He said he put some acorn rage in his feeder with his corn. He said it works fine.
Anyone do this?

I mix milo in my feeders but its for quail not deer. I bet if the corn is not working not much else will till the acorns are picked through.

I have put piles of Acorn Rage out and the Crush powder attractants and it has worked well for us in Centerville on my buddies private property. I started using Waller Rice Drier Apple flavored corn mixed with their Persimmon flavored corn this year and we have seen the amount of deer double on our feeder pics. Definitely brings them in. Even when they were ignoring the corn up until recently and just eating the acorns, they still came out to eat the Acorn Rage and Crush powder. I posted a pic here under the Sugar Beet Crush post of 3 Doe’s all licking the Sugar Beet Crush Block at the same time under my feeder when I ran out of corn because I had it going off too many times to feed all the deer that were coming to my feeder. They still came out and ate the block when they didn’t find any corn under the feeder. I am going to buy a 600# easy fill feeder for next season. I tried that molasses dirt bag, the Code Blue Grave Digger stuff, and a bunch of other attractant feed stuff and none of it worked. Some even made the deer leave my feeder and only ate at my buddies feeder. So far Acorn Rage and all the Crush flavors have been working continuously for us. We used some powdered rice bran and they ate it but they never devoured it like they did to the other stuff. Even when we mixed some Crush powder with it. They will probably devour it after the acorns are soured. Last year we used WRD roasted soy bean mixed with corn and it worked but not as good as the flavored corn. Definitely try some Apple and Persimmon flavored corn and save yourself some money rather than having to buy a bag of something to keep mixing with your corn.

Sapper T, try some rice bran. You might just change your mind.

I tried some corn that had persimmon flavoring mixed in this year. Made a big difference in the activity at the feeder. I do have a fence around them to keeps hogs out. Hunt in Shelby county.

I use C'mere Deer attractant in my feeders. I put in 50 pounds of corn and then sprinkle a small amount on top and then another 50 pounds and sprinkle some more, etc. I use very little and one bag will last me more than a season. Does it work? "I don't know." But with all the $1,000's of dollars I spend each year on deer hunting, I don't think another $17 is going to hurt.
Cabin rental in Pagosa Springs, Co. Sleeps 10, If interested please PM me.

Black Magic works pretty good for me. I put it out about 4 times a year in the same spot, and over the last couple of years, they deer have eaten enough of the dirt away to create a low spot, which is even better for it as moisture enhances it. You also have to keep the corn out there for them year round. It's like crack, but they have to try it first, and sometimes that takes time. Once they start eating it, nothing else comes close. When that happens, do not change it or add anything to it. I've learned that mistake the hard way with 10 free sacks of orange scented corn. Nothing would touch that stuff, not even the hogs!!!!
