A few weeks ago we had a great weekend of 10 coons in our dog proof traps. The next weekend we had 2. Waited 2 weeks to give them a break and set them again and didn’t trap a thing. They have started dumping the trap out to get the food instead of sticking their arm in there. What do y’all suggest?

Wire it to the side of a tree or put a big marshmallow in there that wind fall out. You can also pour a little fish oil in there and they will think there is still something in the trap and may reach in.

what are you using for bait?
peanut butter comes to mind, should stick to the walls
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting.......holy kaka.....What a Ride!
