Posting from the phone so let's see if this works... Couple of weeks ago at the lease... riding around and checking feeders...spied a lone coyote on the trail ahead of me just about dusk....ease up to wear I saw him cross and look and he is about 100 yrds off to the left... just kinda trotting.... I "bark" at him, but he doesn't stop, so I lob a round at him from my 6.8.... I hear it hit and go to investigate....hit him in the back of his head...flipped him head over heels about 8 feet and this is what I find... Love the 6.8. I did the same thing to a coyote last year with a 270. Canoo'd that melon right behind the camp house @ 80 yrds. There were some liberal family members of the land owner's there from Austin. They looked at me like I was a horrible person and didn't have much to say to me after that, which was great!
