Finally! Years ago I bought her a rifle, but then she said she didn't want to hunt. Ok. But today she said she was ready to shoot a pig, so tomorrow I'll put her in a blind that's 95% likely to have a bunch of hogs and only 60 yards from the feeder.
We spent some bench time with the 260 and 100 gr Nosler BT's. Hardly any recoil, and she shot great. Probably no point in expecting her to help with any skinning.
Stay tuned. More news tomorrow at 8 or 9 am.

Good luck.
Watch her get the biggest one yet.
One shot is all it should take.

Probably no point in expecting her to help with any skinning. Naw, wait 'til she shoots one, then tell her "It's a rule. You shoot it, you skin it." It'll work, honest. Trust me.
I have two unwritten rules: 1. 2.

Well...darn. No pigs came to her feeder. That's a disappointment for both of us. It was a different feeder from where I shot yesterday, but maybe my shot warned them off for a few days.
I know she enjoyed being in the woods. The coyotes were howling like crazy, so she got to hear that up close and personal.

I'll bet if you clean she would cook for you. If my lovely lady is willing to cook it, I'm willing to clean it. Stay after them cause there are a lot of us spending lots of time looking for that few seconds of trigger time.
