I was digging around through some boxes of reloading supplies and came across these. Bought 'em in 1966, at FedMart, for 69 cents a box! 51 years in storage and countless moves that I made while working for IBM; wonder it they'll still "spark?"

I will bet you they will go bang! I had some old CCI #250 primers from the 70's from some gear I bought from the guy who taught me how to reload. I used them in my 270 Win hunting ammo a few seasons ago, and not only did they go bang, they shot great also.

I also bet they ill go bang. Shot some a couple years ago that I do not know the age but the price tag was from 75 cents from Gibsons.

I will try them first without powder or bullet and then go from there. Won't be using them for self defense loads, even if they work. I'll let you all know how the experiment goes.

If stored well they should work great. I have several hundred Fed215 form the late 70's and 80's that still shoot great. Still have the price tag on mine as well. Believe they were .89 cents per 100.

I can't even remember when CCI packages looked like this, but these go bang every time. I only use them for fouling and zeroing ammo, though.

Be careful handling that old paper, Mike. You might end up having to vacuum up a bunch of dust. j/k! I would like to know how old these primers are.

Here's another. Though not as old as the others. This is from the mid 80's
