Just wondering...how many folks actively manage their rangeland year-in, year-out for the benefit of quail? Such as prescribed fire, chemical brush control, mechanical brush control (discing, excavator, roller chopper, shred, etc.), emphatically oversee grazing intensity, create small header dams/quail oasis, supplemental feed, create food plot strips, plant beneficial brush species, create half cuts, plant "quail friendly" native grasses, etc.

Fly surveys in fall or conduct roadside counts in September? Conduct spring call counts?

Just wondering, since we know we are dealing with a species that tends to be eaten by everything and is greatly subject to the weather fluctuations. Which tends to interfere with our hunting opportunities from year to year.

We do. We don't fly surveys or do roadside counts. We've done chemical brush control, mechanical brush control, oversee grazing, supplement feed, have food plots, plant beneficial grains, etc.

Lying is lying. Don't bitch about one doing it and condone another. That's called hypocrisy.
