My bino instruction pamphlet says store in a cool dry place. The problem is I never need them when I'm at home!
Can I keep them in my truck console and not damage them?

I have set of Nikons that I have keep in my truck for the fast several years. I have had no problems with them.

I don't expect you to have an issue leaving them in your truck. If you do Nikon will still warranty them.

Thanks for the replies, LKW and Ben.
Mine are Bushnells I was given as a gift so I doubt they're very expensive.
I guess I'll go ahead and put them in the truck unless someone else pops up soon saying otherwise.

Treat them nice. Rub them often and dress them in cat clothes.
Just don't treat them like a hammer and you should be fine.
