I hunted there years ago. It is legit. However, some homework is required. Scout to find a field that holds birds. The hot fields get pressured and burn out quick. If you can't make use of this the first several days of the season, I would hesitate. I did observe some hunters that were very unsafe, and I had to move. David is a good guy. Overall, I would recommend it.

As above, opening week or two are good but the native birds leave the area and not much to keep them around. Migrating birds tend to fly farther west. Bass fishing was decent on the stock ponds but nothing over 3#.

Again. Lots of land and close to Dallas, great to get out of Dallas and hunt and teach your sons about hunting. Don't expect birds to shoot at. I'd rather travel and get limits but that's me now. You would think with all the crops dove love it is a no brainer but it's not in the flyway. I like it just because you have access to a lot of land but birds not so much.
