Hoping somebody here can help me out. This weekend my wife and I were supposed to go back down to South Texas for her second attempt at a 140" class whitetail. We took our guides advice and switched the hunt until next season due to weather and animal activity. I'm wanting to salvage the weekend and take her to shoot an axis or blackbuck doe within 3 hours of Houston. Day hunts ok, lodging not necessary. Any recommendations?
