Ive been hearing rumors of a 7-10 day doe season for most non-doe counties in 2017. Has anyone else heard of this?

Several counties added a 14 day muzzleloader season at the end of general that allows does.

One of the counties I hunt(Falls) had a 4 day doe season this year and now has a late season muzzleloader season.

If I remember correctly, Gonzales County allows 2 does during archery season but not muzzleloader season.

I believe they are referring to this month... there are some counties with an extra doe season but it is by county. If you have a muzzleloader season, you can fill any unfilled tag left from the regular season (doe or buck). Check the regulations for your county.
