The eliminator spinner plate has stopped closing all the way. I have lubed it about6 weeks ago but that is about it. It closes enough o be functional but not like it is supposed to . Does the spring on the shaft get weak? Appreciate you comments.

We have had same problem, but luckily our dealer will trade bad for new. Those things are not cheap.

Sacrilege around here to say they don't work perfectly, 100% of the time.
And yes, they are pricey.

Have had good luck with mine until lately. I have this feeder running for 8 seconds, starting to wonder if the longer run time has any effect. Going to take some brake cleaner or carb. cleaner out next time to see in that will help.

I had the same problem as Wilhunt two weeks ago. I found that the plate it self got bent some how. That caused an angle pushing the plate to one side running back up the rod, I bent it back straight no problems now.

I did not notice mine being bent but will check it for sure. Like the easy fix.

Solved my problem with the Eliminator Spin plate. The plate was completely down and I could not force it up by hand. After spraying 2-3 times with brake cleaner it started to loosen up a bit. Kept working by hand with more brake cleaner the a good dose of white lithium grease (spray). It now works like it is supposed to. I had used another lubricant on it but never a cleaner before.
