Shot this Gadwall mutant yesterday morning on a 4 acre private pond in North Texas. Never seen anything like it in my 20 years of shooting ducks. Some sort of hybrid or piebald. Needless to say, its at the taxidermist.

Awesome. What kind of mount are you doing with it? Standing up. Wing stretched out with the head turned a little bit. Want to show off the gadwall "soul patch" on the chin and really want to show off the white on the wing. Absolutely crazy combo. Knew it had to be mounted the minute it was picked up. The taxidermist can't wait to finish it so he can show it off in his shop while it dries.

I know it does not count as either a goose or a duck as it is a hybrid.
However, if it did count how would you score it towards a limit?

Hybrids don't count towards your species limit, but they do count towards your total. For instance, if you shot a redhead x bluebill, you could still shoot 2 more redheads and 3 more bluebills and then your limit would be full
