Home Depot
I use longlines made out of PVC coated braided steel cable with 1/2 inch sections of aluminum tubing crimped on the cable every 3 feet to secure snap swivels to anchor a Texas rigged deke, and egg weightts crimped on the cable spaced every 6 feet.
I wouldnt use steel cable to Texas rig dekes due to the stiffness of the cable, but it works like a champ for longlining dekes. I actually prefer longlines now instead of free floating dekes.

Not sure why stiff decoy cord is a bad thing, that's why I want it.....because it doesn't tangle. I bought some from and am very happy with the product, just a little pricey. Looking for crimps and bulk weights too.

Not sure why stiff decoy cord is a bad thing......... Wrapping small loops around the keel of your dekes to store them until the next hunt can cause the cable to develope permanent kinks and loops.

I hunted with a guy last week that only used the Lifetime Decoys rigs on his birds. (the pvc coated steel cable) We put out 20 dozen decoys. They are a little more spendy but I won't re-invest or re-rig my decoys with anything else now. Definitely the best thing I've seen yet. And they come with HUGE carabiners that made picking up and putting out a lot more easy, I was surprised because I usually don't care about small ones, but wow.
