Start of bow season me and my FIL decided not to shoot any does until this weekend if we haven't gotten out bucks. This turned out nice. We've seen more bucks during the rut and now we are done till next year. Saturday morning we hunted together. We were sitting there and my FIL says I gotta good feeling that big buck is gonna come from left to right. I said yup, he'll come out about 1030. Well 1030 hits and were in the blind I hear big buck big buck, be quite. He throws him out the window and shoots, I see the see run about 10 yards and turns around. I say he's coming back and I here him reloading and he shoots again and nails him. That afternoon he hunt same spot. And the biggest buck I have ever seen. HUgE. And all we can do is watch him. Because we have already tagged our big bucks. As soon as he left a spike came rolling in and I dropped the hammer on him. Th is morning my FIL went and sat while I slept at camp. He said he had a fawn run threw with a coyote chasing him he said he hollered and the fawn turned and came and layed down right beside the blind. He hollered and again and the coyote tAkes off. He said the fawn layed there and never moved until he got his breath.. He said he could have petted if he wanted to but didnt.. I guess the fawn new he was safe.

yes! it was definitely my most exciting hunting memory.. I think if about convinced him to "add on" to our 4x4 blinds to 4x8. like the one we were in. plenty of extra room with 2 people. id post pictures but don't know how. his buck isn't a monster nor was mine but they'll sure eat good and to me that's what I'm in it for.
