Anybody have any tips on hunting this area? Stand Location? Tactics? Tips? Anything will help!
I have hunted family land surrounded by the forest and am not seeming to have much luck. Had some good bucks on the trail camera during bow season and but now am not seeing anything.

Hunted there every year when I was a kid. Saw a grand total of 8 deer over the 10 years I hunted there; two groups of 4, each time running wide open through the woods.

They're in there, just very remote! Try the north end of the DCNF around Weches area towards the river. You have be sure you don't get on private land in there too.
