Hello,
we have a couple spots left for our self guided black bear hunts, these hunts are done over bait with tree stands or ground blinds whatever you prefer, you are allowed 2 black bear per person, meals and lodging are included, this is a fly in hunt that is based out of one of our cabins, all bait stations have game cameras and will be active at the time you are in camp. there is also excellent fishing for Northern pike and burbot in the lakes and stream. our hunt dates are may and june, we also keep a couple dogs in camp to help retrieve wounded bear. If you have ever wanted to bear hunt this is an excellent opportunity to kill a big black bear. price for this hunt is $2500 per person plus license tags and plane tickets. kids 15 and under are half price,

What is the cost of an out of state hunting license, and where would a person fly in to?

Hello,
You would fly into anchorage Alaska, and then a small bush plane from there to the cabin, non resident license is $85 and black bear tags are $225 each.

I'm guessing this wouldn't be a good family trip for a family of 5 (the wife, 8 year old girl, 7 year old boy, 2 year old boy, and myself).
