Anyone own an LCR in 22lr or have any experience with one? Comments? Opinions on DAO trigger pull? Accuracy? Pros or cons?

I have one. Very long and heavy trigger pull but plenty accurate for what it is which is a very small and lightweight 22 revolver. The trigger pull isn't too bad once you get the feel for where it breaks. hickok45 did a couple good reviews on youtube

Thanks Brandon S. I have watched Hickok 45's reviews and several others. I keep holding out for Ruger to produce an LCRx in 22lr with a hammer and maybe even 3 inch barrel and adj, sights.

I have an original LC9 and have adjusted to the long DAO trigger pull of that gun.

I think the 22lr LCR would be a perfect woods walking/fishing/camping,fence fixing and pasture mowing kit gun.

Those would be nice additions but I do appreciate the simplicity and size of the little revolver and enjoy shooting it.

I think Taurus also makes a small framed 22lr revolver, might give them a search.

I have one and I love it. The pistol will shoot as accurate as you can. It is a snub nose revolver, if you don't practice it will get tough hitting targets at 15+ yards. However, anything inside 10 yards is easy for me and I don't shoot pistols much.

The trigger takes getting used to. I dry fired it a lot (which is fine to do with this pistol) to practice. After 20 minutes of practice the trigger is very easy to stage for more accurate shots.

For closer more rapid fire shots I find it easier to have a straight through trigger pull. I hate to say, but almost "slapping" the trigger makes it a very easy pull all the way through. Also, if you shoot Glocks or M&Ps you will need to get used to having 0 trigger reset, at least I did. The trigger has to be all the way released otherwise you can't fire the next round.

The pistol is super light as I'm sure you've read and it is very handy. I plan on carrying it with me hunting with some .22 snake shot and CCI Stingers. Also, dare I say, I plan on CC the pistol. I know it's a .22lr but man is it a joy to carry. It may just replace my Smith and Wesson M&P Shield for my everyday carry pistol.

Thanks to everyone for the information. I'm glad to know the trigger is not that bad and accuracy is good. I just like the idea of a snub nose .22lr and this one seems to be ideal. It is definitely on the short list of what gun to get next!
