I was walking through my local walmart and they had 333 rounds of 22LR for $13 a box, way lower than I've seen it anywhere else before even with sales. Got 5 boxes of it, 1665 rounds for $70 after taxes. Everyone check your local walmart for ammo, maybe yours has it in stock for this low of a price too.
Also was curious what everyone is paying per round on average?

Unfortunately 4.5 to 5.5 cents/round is the new normal around here for the cheaper stuff in Winchester/Federal bulk packs.

That's still cheaper than here. On average I'm seeing it at 6-9 cents per round for bulk

But I did pick up a bunch of Remington 12ga 2-3/4" 00 buck for $3.00/15, and 3" 00 buck for $3.50/15 at Walmart today. It was on close-out so I bought what they had.

I'm happy with $0.20 to $0.23 for full load high brass 00 buck. I'm a 12ga guy so that's the best $150 I have spent in a while.
