Not near as fun as shooting! I just cleaned my Spectre II the first time. I used the vinager and hydrogen peroxide "dip". I worked great. However it melted the coat hanger I used to hang the baffles on. I also have a pickle jar of some nasty stuff. Anyone every try this? If you are going to try it. READ AS MUCH AS YOU CAN ABOUT IT FIRST!!!!
yep, sure, why not

First time I cleaned my Spectre II, I put it in a stainless steel media tumbler for 20 hours before it got it almost spotless. Still had to clean the inside corners out a little near the end of the process. Now that yours is clean, read the following article before you shoot it again and use their treatment (bottom 1/3 of the page). I use the silicone oil treatment (Amazon carries the oil) and it's a breeze to clean now. http://www.rrdvegas.com/silencer-cleaning.html

darn good read the 1st time I read it, then bought all needed to do it
and low and behold it works like a champ
don't need to order oil from amazon, go to auto zone and get some dot #5 brake fluid, advance auto parts didn't have it on the shelf that day. got an 11oz bottle for about 11.00$, and was enough using a tall slender glass jar to cover all the baffles
the stainless steel media I did get from amazon, was .255" in length and .047" in diameter
started tumbler and checked at 3 hours, you could tell something was happening, at 6 there was a change, at 9 cleaned damn near like new. but also put a spoon full of dish soap in with a water mix. and of course finish with a tooth brush for touch up
haven't had it apart since, only put about 250 rounds through it, at 1000 will be interesting to see
and again, was a good read

I've got to clean a sparrow soon, I'm dreading it. I don't have a stainless tumbler, and am nervous about using the dip. Any other ways? I cleaned it right after I shot it the first few times, and that lead is hard to scrape off.

Has anyone tried using Sea Foam? It seems like it would work, but I'm guessing.

I tried the silicone oil dip, it worked but I'll stick with soaking my suppressors in Berrymans Chem-Dip. It's the easiest way that I have found to clean all the crud off a suppressor. Just take it apart, put everything in the basket, lower the basket into the can of Chem-Dip, let it soak for 1-2 days, remove the parts and wipe them off.

Has anyone tried a sonic cleaner?
I once drank muddy water out of a hoof print and was dang glad to get it.

Has anyone tried a sonic cleaner? I have a Harbor Freight sonic cleaner. It didn't do much to clean mine.
