Managed to drop a few honkers up here in North Dakota's early goose season. Its hard to beat the feeling of watching these big birds fold out of the sky and hit the ground with a thud. Ill never get tired of watching the beautiful sunrises from my layout blind.

Colder weather is starting to kick in up here. Saw a bunch grouping up yesterday. Flocks are getting bigger as the days go by. Should be a good year.

Man we tried to hunt them a few years back but they wouldn't come in close enough.
I might just try an outfitter this year if the weather works out right. And I cant get over how big those Canada geese are up close!

They can be weary birds. Just one set of eyes out of the flock needs to see one small issue with the decoy spread and blinds. It can be a rough game.
