I picked up a case of this for my 20 gauge last year. The shells would fire but not eject from the gun. I put a few cases of Rio's through it after that without a single issue.
I sent the case back to Hevishot and they acknowledged that they had some early issues with those loads. They sent me another case and I just got the chance to test fire the rounds for opening day. Same exact issue with the replacement case. The gun then cycled herters's and Rio's flawlessly.
Anybody else seeing or hearing about this with Hevi dove?

I think your gun is telling you it doesn't shoot that shell...

It won't cycle in my 20ga Benelli Córdoba. I gave it to my nephew who has a pump.

Was going to say maybe your gun doesn't cycle 3 inch shells. Check barrel. However Rio 20ga loads are 3's

Don't waste your money on heavy shot for dove. Do u have to shoot non toxic?

Lead is very dense, rio 1oz 20ga loads like shooting 1oz 12ga-

Why pay 2x more?

You can knock down dove 50-60 yards out with I-mod or even mod- even w 7/8 oz cheap shells- if your on the bird

My Beretta won't cycle the Rio's, I have to use the old fashion Remington green box heavy dove loads.
